Vintage lacquered papier mâché hen-form trinket box. Hollow two-piece construction that separates at the middle into a lid and base. Hand-painted in bright pink with green and yellow head detail and scalloped feather-pattern decoration in green and yellow across the body. Interior painted yellow. Made in Japan.
