1947 Kix Cereal Lone Ranger Atomic Bomb Ring

$150.00

A genuine 1947 Lone Ranger Atomic Bomb Ring, one of the most iconic cereal premiums ever produced. This "seething scientific creation" was offered by Kix cereal and contained an actual working spinthariscope—a tiny device that allowed kids to observe nuclear reactions by viewing polonium alpha particles striking a zinc sulfide screen. The adjustable brass band features embossed lightning-blast explosion designs on the sides, with an aluminum bomb-shaped warhead mounted on top.
